Matt Kristiansen, AA
Matt Started his career in the building science and design field. He led a team of engineers to design and manufacture a panelized building system, setting up manufacturing facilities in Calgary, Botswana and Panama. He has been the construction manager on large scale residential and commercial developments in Calgary, Golden, Gaborone, Botswana and Panama City, Panama. Along with a dedicated team of Calgary construction professionals, Matt started Ethan Karter Construction to provide clients with a complete full service design build commercial construction company.
Kel Kristiansen, MBA
Kel brings more than forty years of construction experience to the Ethan Karter team. His Illustrious career began at Atco Structures where he worked on high profile projects including the Alaska Pipeline. As a Vice President of Ellis Don Construction LTD, Kel was the principal in charge of Calgary’s city municipal building, the University of Calgary Engineering Building, the Sheraton Cavalier as well as the Remai and Point McKay Towers. Kel relocated to the United States to become Vice President of Marshal Erdman, the largest turn-key hospital builder in the nation. Kel joined the Ethan Karter team in 2009.
Mike Rowell, AMP
Vice President, Corporate Development
As a licensed mortgage broker and accredited mortgage professional (AMP), Mike lends his extensive business, real estate, and public company knowledge for the due diligence and risk management on real estate investment and lending opportunities as well as portfolio and asset management. Mike has held senior management positions and served as a member of the board of directors with numerous private and publicly traded companies on the Alberta, TSX and NASDAQ stock exchanges. As Vice President of Corporate Development, Mike focuses on growth strategies and building long term client relationships while creating and implementing key processes.
